What a blessed day yesterday! My day started out at the doctor's office. It was a blessing to hear that my vital statistics are doing very well. When your doctor says "whatever you are doing, keep doing it" you know that something is going right. I praise God for my health. After that it was to church to attempt to fix the main recording computer. Unfortunately the computer does not look good and we may need to replace it. Last night's service was another blessing as we heard great preaching out of the 37th Psalm. The prayer time after the service was great. I love breaking up into groups and praying. What a way to bring our congregation together.
Today it is off to the computer repair man with that recording computer. We will then drop the kids off at my mother's while Paula and I go to the airport to pick up a precious family member of a local pastor. Then, well....... some quiet time with my beautiful wife! What a blessing it is to serve the King of Kings!!!

Tuesday May 25,2010

What a great day I had on yesterday! I woke up really early (3:15 am) so that I could still have some quiet time with the Lord before running the Pep Farm route with the current owner. I learned a lot yesterday about running the handheld computer and "picking" the orders. It was a profitable day on the route. After I arrived home (around 3:30 pm), I picked up the family and then we drove to church to set up for tonight's homeschool ministry closing celebration. Mmmmmmmm, hamburgers and hot dogs. Wow, I'm really suffering for Jesus! I look forward to all that is going to happen over the next two weeks. God is MOVING in Maine and at Church Hill Baptist Church and I am so excite to be a part of it.

Sunday May 23, 2010

What a beautiful Lord's day morning this is. As I write this my heart is leaping within me. I am just so excited for what is to come.
My last day at Walmart was Thursday and it was a very touching send off. The Lord is good and the people at the store let me know how much they will miss me. It gave me a great opportunity to invite people to church and witness to them. I praise God for the opportunity to throw handfulls of Gospel seed on my way out. I do expect to see some of my former associates at Church Hill Baptist Church. I pray they will all get saved.
On Wednesday of last week (my second-to-last day) I received a call from Pepperidge Farms stating that the closing date was pushed back two weeks, from May 28 to June 11. This was a tough call to get, meaning it will be two weeks further until I get a paycheck (probably the first of July now). This means we need to go through the entire month of June with no paycheck. My fleshy self did what any unspiritual person would do and panicked. However, the Lord quickly reigned me back in and let me know it would be allright. Oh how I praise the Lord God and his provision for his people.
I look forward with great anticipation for what is to come! God is so good!
